Our Projects

The Pantry
A subsidised pantry open to anyone struggling financially. Including those who were just about managing but now face increasing financial challenges. The pantry provides 'members' with groceries, personal hygiene and household cleaning products to the value of £20+ for a cost of £3.50 per visit.
To combat 'period poverty' the pantry provides free feminine hygiene products. We also provide, without charge, nappies for each child in a household as needed.

Kirsty's Cafe
We are a not-for-profit community café. Using surplus food from the pantry, we will provide regular free or heavily subsidised, warm, nutritious meals for those struggling to afford to feed themselves adequately. The café is an inclusive, safe, accessible community space where you can connect with others in your local community.
This initiative support our local environment by helping to reduce food waste via our collaboration with FareShare and local supermarkets. By taking good quality food from them and redistributing it, we contribute to the reduction in produce sent to landfill.

Boutique
Providing good quality preloved and new footwear and clothing, including a popular school uniform department. We also have household items such as duvets, blankets etc. People are encouraged to recycle clothing where possible instead of simply adding to landfill.

Neurodiverse Group
This is a group that we host at the HUB Project building where peer to peer support is offered for parents and carers of neurodiverse school age children. They provide monthly evening and lunchtime meetings and have guest speakers, signposting and training for parents and carers in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The Table
'The Table' is a food initiative to provide meals throughout the day for community members. The Lunch club currently provides a balanced meal each day when the HUB Project is open.
We will provide a family focused evening meal once a month after school, a stress-free time to socialise and eat together as well as a weekly Monday morning breakfast club. Coming soon!
