The Charity
"Restorers 58 is a charity based on Christian principles and practises, running both faith promoting and non-faith promoting activities. Our projects focus on helping to instil hope and form helpful habits leading to transformative action.
‘Thrive’ is the non-faith promoting element of Restorers with a growing number of initiatives. The HUB Project is one of these, having been developed during the pandemic it continues to expand and develop."
Our Trustees

Rebecca Allen
Married, two young children. Live in Loughborough. Work for The Well Church Loughborough as a children's worker (0-11). Previous experience in primary teaching and forest school nursery work as an educator. Love going on adventures in our campervan, especially those by the sea or water of some sort. Never bad weather, only bad clothing!

Andrew Hulley
An experienced church leader, Andrew, known by most as Rew, has also led the recruitment and development of volunteers for other charities. He also has experience in chaplaincy work, teaching, leadership development and volunteering in a couple of prisons. He and his wife have three grown up children and are also foster parents. Rew loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, mountain biking, bushcraft and woodworking. His other two passions are coffee and Leicester City Football Club.

David Long
David has worked in sales for over 35 years and is currently a Senior Regional Sales Manager in the construction sector. David is married to Karen and they have 3 adult children and grandchildren ranging from late teens to babies. Originally from Yorkshire (and proud of it) David has lived in the East Midlands for the last 15 years. He has a variety of experience serving as a Trustee with different charities over the years. David is a capable DIY enthusiast and is always happy to roll up his sleeves and get involved in a renovation. In his spare time David is a keen, if not very consistent, golfer with a collection of wooden spoons to prove he needs more time on the golf course.

Giles Parkers
Giles has been part of King’s Church since 1989, taking the lead to Harborough Community Church from 1999 to 2013. Returning to Loughborough in 2018 Giles has played a supporting role both to the congregation and for the past 3 years the Board, as a trustee. Professionally Giles has been Managing Director of a specialist Engineering Consultancy for over 25 years building an international platform for expertise in environmental acoustics. Giles works with industry, transport and at local and national government level.

Kevin Potter
Kevin is all about helping people turn their dreams into something real—something that not only benefits them but also the communities they’re part of. With his background, in engineering, the charity sector, faith based transformation and as a trained coach, he brings loads of experience from living and working alongside folks in India, North America and Europe, often in places facing big economic and social challenges. He’s the founder of an urban charity in the UK, developed grassroots community engagement and has supported a number of board teams, so he gets the pressures people face—whether they’re leading from the top or working on the ground. These days, Kevin lives in Scotland with his wife, Linsey. They also spend time coaching, mentoring individuals, and encouraging all kinds of creative community projects across the UK and internationally. Their grown-up kids are spread far and wide—one married and living in Colorado with his wife and children , another in Scotland with his partner, and their daughter is mostly up in the air (literally—she’s a flight attendant with a major airline!). When Kevin’s not working with people or communities, you’ll probably find him reading, tucking into a masala dosa, painting, travelling, enjoying a good countryside walk with Linsey and looking forward to visiting his family and grandchildren.

Linsey Potter
Linsey is married to Kevin and a mother of 3, grandmother of 2. She grew up as a third Culture Kid as her father worked in the oil industry, so she has lived in places like Iran and Australia before finally settling in the UK. Since marrying Kevin, they travelled a lot again as a family living in India, The US, England and now Scotland. Linsey is a novice gardener, who loves to read, sample good wine and fortunately loves to travel! She shares her husband's passion for turning dreams into reality and living in so many diverse cultures has helped her to develop a wide understanding of what god gets up to around the world. Linsey loves to challenge herself and others to new ways of thinking. She chooses to be a learner at heart and loves it when others join her in that.
